Occasionally there'll be pretty photos and not so pretty photos depending on how much of a hurry I'm in, sometimes there will be none....
The Slimming World philosophy is based on consuming as many 'free foods' as you want, in fact this is what your diet should be mostly made up of, all other foods contain something called 'syns'. You can have up to a maximum syns allowance of 15 a day (which I often do), unfortunately :( it's not just junk food and deserts that contain syns- a lot of everyday foods are synful, like cheese, flour, bread, milk, ketchup etc
What I haven't mentioned yet is that whilst following the slimming world diet you need to choose what type of day your going to have- a 'green day', 'red day', or an 'Extra Easy day' Depending on which day you choose you have a choice of healthy extras which can be added to the diet with no syn cost :)
A green day is a vegetarian day and you can choose 4 healthy extras, two healthy extra A's and 2 B's. The A choices are milk and cheese, and the B choices are more varied from meat, cereal, cereal bars, nuts, oil, bread and MORE cheese - the quantities are specified though and sometimes it's little hard to get excited about 28g of cheese!
A red day is a meat based day and again you can choose 4 healthy extras 2 A's and 2 B's but this time as all lean meat is free, there is the option of having potatoes or rice/ pasta as a healthy choice B
An extra Easy day by far my favourite :) is one where all vegetables and lean meat are completely free!!! because of this though, you only get 2 healthy choices 1 A and 1 B- some people find this harder because of the loss of 2 choices BUT and this is a big BUTT (lol!) you can eat as many potatoes as you like completely FREE ... and all the lean meat, pasta, couscous and noodles you like!!!
